I believe I was in the sixth grade when my parents bought me my first camera. It shot panoramic and I thought I was in heaven. Of course most of the pictures I took were of my friends. I got my first digital when I was a sophomore in high school, and when I was a senior I took a few "senior pictures" for some of the kids in my class.
      I took pictures every now and then throughout my time in college and after I got married but mostly while I was out hunting with the guys or traveling somewhere. In 2009 I took some senior pictures of my little cousin and from then on I got a little busier until it was necessary for me to build a small business. 
     I am currently married and the mother of four, in Bison, SD, where my husband and I also own a commercial spraying and trucking business. So with a family of six, two horses, two cats, two dogs and a business to run, we stay pretty busy, but not too busy for a few picture sessions on occasion. 
     I don't currently have much for studio space in my home so that leaves mostly outdoor shoots, but I do have the space to take pictures of children, headshots and smaller families.
